It was ten years ago that Thomas first started sculpting sand in the
Netherlands. He has since then become one of the most admired carvers on the
beach. Fellow sculptors praise Thomas’ exceptional talent. His ability at
amazing the public has taken him to places as far China, Canada and all over
Europe and the United States.

He and Jill Smith are partners in Sandsational Sand Sculpting, a
professional sand sculpting company, based out of Melbourne, Florida.

As team Sandsational they are two time winners on “Sand Blasters”, the show
for the Travel Channel. They were first place winners on the very
first “Sand Blasters” and second place winners on “Sand Blasters 3” Thomas not only sculpts professionally, he is also a very competitive sculptor, winning many events around the world. For instance: in 2005 he won
every single medal of Revere Beach: First Place, Sculptor’s choice and People’s choice.
