Steve started playing in the sand as a young surfer on the beaches of Rhode Island. Armed with a fine arts degree from the University of Rhode Island and natural born art talent Steve has renewed that passion for sand sculpting in a big way. With in the last 7 years, along with the help of local Master Sand Sculptors, Steve has elevated himself to compete against the best in the world. Known as the "sand sculptor of the Ocean State"Steve loves to do fun , wacky pieces during competition which are always crowd pleasers. He says he loves the interaction with the people who come to watch the Masters do their stuff . Being also musician most of his life, performing for a crowd is nothing new.One of Steve's personal goals is to  place in Masters competition, hopefully, Revere will be where it happens.
