Fred has been competing as a master since September 2002. He plays very hard at learning the world of professional sand sculpture. He has worked on many contract jobs and taught many people to have more fun on the beach through carving sand.
Sand sculpture is a hobby for Fred, what could be better than playing on a beach, keeping fit, artistic release, and the chance of making money all at the same time.
As of 2007 he has competed as a solo master in thirty competitions, placing in fifteen.
When not playing in the sand, he is just as likely to be found doing home remodeling, painting watercolors, mucking with motors, playing skipper on the 'Obsessive Behavior', or compiling code and teaching engineers to write programs to support all of the above.
